This door is pretty weird. I mean, it’s definitely safe and all, but it’s been described as “avant-garde” by most who have seen it. It’s also incredibly unique.

4/20. Sims 4 5 Colors Front Doors – Mabra

Mabra released their Asymmetric Front Doors for Sims 4 on January 4, 2017. There are six doors (and two double front doors) to choose from in five colors per door, which allows for thirty different combinations. These doors could be used for all different kinds of builds, but as you’ll read about below, I’m planning my first house around them!

Though I did see a couple of issues, if I’m going to be totally honest. I loved the fact that both sides had their own unique textures and colors that made them look different from each other while still making them look like they could fit together. Both sides are great for urban and suburban builds — especially with those modern skyscrapers that keep popping up in downtown Uptown. But, when it comes down to it, there were a few problems.

I found the Modern Dream Doors CC pack by Devirose mentioned on Designspiration before, but I love these doors by morgana14 for their clean, crisp style and modern look. They come in a variety of solid colors, from cool to warm, and have that geometrical feel I love so much. They’d work really well for someone who wants a bit of depth in their designs.

If you have ever wanted to build yourself the ultimate, grungy, heavily industrial loft then you need these double door fronts. There are lots of stained glass doors out there, but this one might be the best – and it’s also quite unique! My in-game testing shows that light (sadly) does not stream through the door like it would for windows or full-glass doors, but the design is pretty nonetheless.

This is an excellent set of doors which will suit both your Sims’ needs and your taste! You can choose between 12 different doors, all in a stylish metal, dark color scheme. They are great as the items in team K-HippieTrue Wood and K All sets of Wood. There are many versatile objects to choose from, both inside and outside your home.

Volume No. 1 is where you’ll find solid colors in cool-looking metal textures. I’m partial to the gray and blue, but the brown is looking pretty sweet these days too. The fourth door on this volume – a color I like to call “dirty slate” — is really popular with the kids these days.

The lack of uniformity in the doors is one thing that stands out – the other is the lack of decor in general. The walls are a dull, pale yellow, and at first glance they look as if they’ve seen better days – which they probably have. It’s no wonder the family living here has a couple of dogs; it’s not safe to go outside. At least your Sims can make themselves comfortable inside.

13/20. Sims 4 Bedroom Nzuza Door – jomsims

I’m a sucker for a minimalist aesthetic. Show me clean lines and solid shades and I’m sold. So I’m not a big fan of patterns. It takes a lot for me to like anything that comes in more than two colors. But… the pattern on these Nzuza bedroom doors is different! I love it because it’s a happy compromise: there are three colors, but they work well together…

With colors that fit a variety of tastes, from bright to subdued, this door will match any home’s style. It’s also a versatile option for any minimalist household; the pattern is clean yet textured, which gives it a great balance between modern and classic.

15/20. Sims 4 Colored Three-Panel Wooden Door – LaLunaRossa

If this isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing thing you have ever seen in your entire life (and if you’ve never seen the inside of an art museum before, then this is even more so) — then you probably have poor taste. Or else you are colorblind.

Everyone knows that a color scheme is more than just the colors it uses; it’s also the values and lightness/darkness of these colors. Some colors work together, while others clash. It’s a fine balance, and a good designer will know how to tell whether their colors reflect this balance — that’s where this tool comes in! Just enter your base RGB numbers, and you’ll be able to see how they ‘read’ as colors.

16/20. Sims 4 Set 4, 5, 6, 7 K All Wood Doors – Team K-Hippie

If your home is missing a little ‘wow’ factor, perhaps it’s time you freshened up the décor with a new set of doors. With sets of 4 of with 7 doors, and total doors are 28, K All Wood Doors are perfect for those who want their house to stand out! Packed with bright colors, geometrical patterns, and fuzzy textures — these could be just what the doctor ordered.

I didn’t like the Sets 1-4 at all, they were just boring and seemed way overpriced. The only things I liked about them were the two new little elements. But then there’s Set 5. This set is much more subdued and minimalistic than the previous sets. The brown and blue door sets are just perfect, and each door is different! They’re probably some of my favourites so far.

The True Wood doors are a deep mahogany, both smooth and glossy. The glazing of the Bright Wood doors is a little more colorful, but still subtle and elegant. Last Set 7, is probably unlike any other set you’ve ever seen, so it’s difficult to describe all of the unique qualities in just a few sentences.

17/20. Sims 4 Set of TS4 Doors – TatyanaName

“Digital inspiration” is a wonderful thing to do, but it’s not quite the same as seeing a design in person. This TS4 Doors Set by creator Tatyana is an exception — these doors so crisp and vivid, you might just forget that you’re looking at patterns rather than the real thing.

The pictures should say plenty, but you basically have one with a chain-like pattern. We really liked that because it gives off the feeling of dark wood and frosted glass. We think this is a great choice for those who want something a little gothic, or those who just want their home to be a bit artsy-fartsy.

18/20. Sims 4 Cleo Puertas Doors – pqSims4

The art deco doors are great, and have plenty of character. But maybe they’re not for your home — or the type of home you want to create. But don’t worry, we have lots more doors to choose from, including one that’s sure to please!

No, a Sim builder probably wouldn’t find this suitable for their needs. And while I can appreciate the use of this tile in a black-and-white, semi-modern design, it’s most likely not going to be used anyway because I’m the only person who’s ever going to buy it.

19/20. Sims 4 Recolour Pastel Rainbow Door – nevyx

These bright, bold doors from Sugarbunnies Pastels fit perfectly in any sort of fantasy Princess theme. Whether they be a stylistic choice or a pre-existing theme, these doors are just what you’re looking for. Beautiful and unique, you won’t regret your purchase.

20/20. Sims 4 Folding Glass Steel Door & Folding Functional Door – AshenSeaced

The Walk-Through Glass Door is the perfect addition to any modern home. The sleek door slides open automatically as your Sim walks through and shuts itself behind them. It’s a beautiful addition to any interior design, accentuating the sleek lines of your room. AshenSeaced: This mod was intended to be used with custom doors in particular, though it works with just about all doors.
