Grandparents have traditionally been a rather neglected lifestage in The Sims, with many players simply letting their Elders float adrift into the ether of old age. But never fear! All of that is about to change. Unfortunately, most households don’t have a realistic way to track long-term health and nutrition, which means babies and grandbabies tend to be neglected, too.
We’re a new startup that’s going to make you wish your grandparents lived next door to you. We’re not looking for cash handouts — just your advice and support on how we can make our product better. For the older folks who are reading this, you probably remember what it felt like to be young and starting out. I hope that you’ll have some advice for us if you’re willing to provide it.

3/10. Sims 4 Grandma’s Apron

4/10. Sims 4 Crocheted Grandma’s Vest
Crochet is the new black. And I’m not just talking about your grandmas. This year, more than any other, you’ll notice more crochet popping up in fashion blogs, magazines, and stores than ever before. With the rise of indie designers and the demand for handmade goods, expect to see more chunky cowls, lace-up mittens, and cable-knit cardigans — all made from 100% wool (of course).
Crochet is an ideal pastime for your elder Sims. The ever-popular vest offers a great way to spruce up their wardrobe and show off their unique tastes. Which of your Sims will you sew this one for?
5/10. Sims 4 Trait of Grandparent
Grandparents who have this trait get to reap rewards that you can only dream of — did you know, statistically speaking, that your grandparents are three times more likely to die than you? I hope they’ve had a good life. Let’s be honest — you probably won’t get to the same age, physically or mentally intact. Your grandparents really have it made.
Parenthood is one of the most rewarding experiences a Sim can go through — and now you can have that experience too! The Sims 4 Parenthood is a content pack released by Maxis that allows grandmothers, grandfathers and even parents to build up their social skill with their grandkids. 7/10. Sims 4 Set of Gradual Aging Wrinkle
The Sims 4 – The Gradual Aging Wrinkle Set, by onlyjustaname, adds more depth to all of our elderly Sims’ appearances. The package comes with a large number of skin details — lines, spots and other imperfections that you’d expect to see on older people. There are also wrinkles to add volume to the face and neck, and aging makeup.
I don’t know how I ever played without wrinkles. If you’re going to be a proper Sim, you need to let gravity get it’s little hands on your face. Right? I’ve found that the best way to do this is a combination of doing interesting things and getting old, but I really don’t want to wait for old age to do it’s work on me, so I use this cheat code instead.
8/10. Sims 4 Recolors Sweater Vests
I know. Grandpa sweaters can be a bit niche, huh? But what if they weren’t? These recolors of the Cats & Dogs sweaters are perfect for any well-dressed elder citizen and you won’t be shunned if you want to wear them in public.
9/10. Sims 4 Strands Gray Hair
If you don’t want to spend hours fishing around YouTube for ‘The Sims 4 Mods’, you need to check out this mod that makes life significantly easier. I’m talking like a 1 in 10 chance. Most of the styles we’ve got in game, even from newer packs, just don’t look right unless you fully commit to the gray. Well, these accessories are the perfect fix for that!
10/10. Sims 4 Mod of Spend Weekend
I desperately wanted after my three-year-old son left my wife and I to stay with his grandmother. He never really adjusted, and we don’t feel his psyche was permanently damaged, but this experience has made me even more grateful that The Sims game franchise exists! When I play it, I no longer feel as though I’m “strangling” my little Sim children by forcing them to spend so much time at their grandparents’ house.
It’s hard to get your Sims to hang out where they’re supposed to in the game — you keep having to call them and tell them to do their homework, or clean up their mess before the house gets full of dirty dishes and shoes. This mod enable you let your Sims wander freely around town until you need them back. And it’s super easy with a couple taps on your phone!
