Garage spaces are every bit as exciting – and useful – in Sims 4 as they were back in The Sims 3. Make sure your Simcity layout is complete with this new assortment of 14 different garages, so you can give your Sims even more extra space to work with.
It seems like the most important thing to everyone who plays The Sims 4 is that the garage isn’t in it. I’m not surprised, considering how many people were super excited about it in previous editions of the game. It’s cool how the developers have decided to be innovative and break away from tradition by having us explore new ways of building and playing.
1/15. Sims 4 Clutter Tools
By purchasing this clutter pack, you’ll be ready for whatever might occur! The “Home Maintenance Clutter Pack” comes with all of the most important items for any household, including hammers, saws, flashlights and most importantly — a fire extinguisher! Be sure to stock up on these items to ensure you’re prepared for anything that might happen!
Sims will still mess around on the same flaming couch after a fire, but that’s no reason not to try and help them. There are some items in this expansion pack that help you build a fully functioning garage (in 3D), full of ramps and burny stuff!
2/15. Sims 4 Workbench Garage Fallout 4
The Sims 4 and Fallout 4. If you’re a fan of retro gaming, this content is the real deal. A selection of custom items that look like they were ripped straight from the 80s, but are in fact modernly designed. Perfect for those who want to relive the golden age of video games on their latest Sims or Fallout adventure. And why wouldn’t you? I mean, it’s so rad!
3/15. Sims 4 Bottle of Gas
Talking about dirty gas canisters. If you’ve ever looked at an artist like Roz Stendahl and thought ‘that’s just not something I can handle, I’m too ordinary to be that creative, my hands aren’t talented enough to make those types of things’ then these are the canisters for you. They have so many details and the textures are incredible! You can find them on the Simmer Store .
4/15. Sims 4 Garden Decor
Games like The Sims allow you to explore your interests, whether you’re a novice or an expert. Games are such a powerful medium because they let you be who you want to be in a safe environment. You get to do things you normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to do, which is why everyone loves them!
This awesome set will really appeal to people that like a unique design and objects that reflect their own interests and personality. As a gardener myself, I’m very excited about this new set of SIMcredible! It’s certainly realistic and will be a fantastic addition to a Sim’s home.
5/15. Sims 4 Ladder Decor
All your Sims need is a ladder — and whimsical ladders give plenty of space for decorative items such as exotic plants and garden gnomes. Of course, you can also use them to reach things that are too high up or in hard to reach places. One step at a time! If you’re having trouble finding the right ladder for your home, here’s a list of some good ones!
6/15. Sims 4 Mod of Ownable Cars
If your Sim’s home is missing that certain something, it might be a car in their garage. At least, it would be if there were any cars to be found in Sims 4.
You can unlock custom car skins for your Sim, and the best way to do this is to level up! Simoleons are the only currency that you’ll be using for this though, so watch out for those pesky taxi fares and bills that keep piling up. Once you get enough Simoleons, you can go to buy a new car, and maybe even get it delivered right to your garage!
7/15. Sims 4 Board Tool
Some plonk everything on their floor or table. Others have a bit of it hanging from the wall. The most exciting people have hung every single tool they own on a pegboard (believe me, it’s so satisfying when you finish). But whomever said tools are for decoration? Well, here’s to you — for going above and beyond the call of duty.
8/15. Sims 4 Shelves Wire
Garage owners, listen up! If you’re looking for some more storage in your garage, but don’t want to deal with the clutter of a standard shelf, then you’ve come to the right place. These wire shelves are a great addition to any garage — they’re way more organized than wood shelves, and much easier to clean if anything spills. You’ll be able to keep everything tidy, even when your inventory balloons.
9/15. Sims 4 Garage Doors
You’ll be amazed at what a little bit of decor can do to the room! This garage door-inspired decorative door from Angela will give your living room or bedroom that much needed touch of whimsy. Whether you go with the classic or modern look, we’re sure you’ll love it! And don’t worry — it’s not hard to install!
10/15. Sims 4 Power Tools
Power tools are one of the most important things you can use in the home, especially for maintaining it. Nothing feels better than being in complete control over your surroundings. And luckily, the things you’re about to use are strictly decorative — no real-life Sim would be crazy enough to wander into a room that contained an electric saw, drill press or grinder.
When we first started using CC items, we were amazed at the quality of their offerings. The attention to detail on them is exceptional, and they match the in-game style perfectly. We couldn’t believe how easy it was to use the items, either — installing and positioning them was a breeze!
11/15. Sims 4 Parts of Car Clutter
Having a sense of humour about life is great. Learning to laugh at your own problems can seriously reduce stress and anxiety, plus making jokes about situations you find yourself in can help you bond with friends. It’s certainly a lot of fun, too! But what if you’re not that funny at first — how do you learn how to be funny?
12/15. Sims 4 Shovel and Rake Decor
Having a home-y feeling is something everyone wants, and now you can get it! Having a garage in The Sims 4 is an exciting feature that allows your Sim to delve deeper into their more domestic side. But did you know that a home isn’t complete without some eye candy? Now you can decorate your house with the most hipster and homely items, because they’re back and they’re better than ever!
You won’t be needing anymore snow CC until all the other neighbors have theirs as well, but your Sims are very respectful, and will make do with what they have. Work isn’t something they can just focus on; it takes a lot of time, effort and energy to keep everything in order.
13/15. Sims 4 Garage Open Door
Hidden doors are for the birds — I’ll admit that I do love my home to look like a perfectly arranged McMansion from HGTV, but sometimes you just don’t want your home to be so… well… hidden. Wouldn’t it be nice if you had an option for your door to open and close like a normal door? Well, now you can!
Thanks to the Door from quiddity-jones, your Sims can now do all sorts of things without being underfoot! Now that I’ve modified it to work for Sims 4 creation, you can make seamless worlds where a family living room and kitchen is right next to a business office, or a classroom and an art studio.
14/15. Sims 4 Lawn Mower
Lawns are a necessary evil. Mowing them is mind-numbing, and you always seem to lose at least one blade of grass. The task itself is a necessary evil (unless you live in the desert), but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun! With the right tools, you can do the job with little effort or frustration.
15/15. Sims 4 Garage Stuff
Everyone who has ever tried to make a home for their Sims knows what I’m talking about. Whether you’re playing The Sims or if your real life home is just “too darn messy,” it’s important to have the basics for making a solid home. These 10 items will make it easy for you to get the job done!
This set also comes with some fun toys that aren’t actually used in this set, but look good just sitting there, including a few containers and a forklift. It’s good they’re there because I certainly wouldn’t want anyone operating heavy machinery! You can barely handle going to work — let alone operating a forklift!
