The Sims are back with a brand new home, and they’re already making a statement — this time with plant life! It’s not just about where you put your plants, but HOW you put them, too. Take some tips from the experts on how to make your house more fashionable with these decorating tips for your interior design!
After a lot of consideration, I’ve decided to make the switch from The Sims 4 to Colourful Life. It’s just not for me, and I was about ready to give up on it. But after playing with Colourful Life for only a few hours, I’m already hooked.
1/20. Sims 4 Flowerpot Capsized
I was initially put off by this plant from Natatanec, but immediately fell in love with it. The flowers spilled out of the pot and created a unique, beautiful look for your garden. It is so nice to have such an original piece of decor, especially since most Sims 4 decorations are extremely similar. If you’re looking for something interesting and new for your garden, I highly recommend this plant !
2/20. Sims 4 Tree Swing & Lamps with Tree Swing
Trees of Love Swing is a giant oak tree that has two swings hanging from the branches, ready for you to enjoy! The perfect combination of nature and home comforts in your town. This swing is guaranteed to soothe your soul with its beauty and romance.
You love the outdoors, but hate bugs.
Swing your day away with this whimsical tree swing retexture! It’s the perfect addition to your game if you’re looking for some good old-fashioned fun. Who needs a sandbox when you can spend all of your time jumping on this cute little swing set?
3/20. Sims 4 Veggie Little Garden Conversions
Gardening in Sims 4 is a fun new way to make your Sim grow happy, healthy plants. However, you must remember to water the plants every day and spray them with insecticide if you want to keep them alive. You can also splice and graft various plants together to create a whole new plant! Your garden can be as big or as small as you want it to be.
The Sims 4 Backyard Stuff Pack is a head-to-toe expansion for your Sims’ backyards, with a focus on plants. This pack comes with six decorative plants and one flower bush and place anywhere outside your Sims’ houses. They’re all just skin-deep, but the great thing is that they’ll never die — so you can enjoy them over and over again!
4/20. Sims 4 Plants of Haze
Modular mix-and-match sets are my jam. I love these Haze Plants CC pack, though, is the definition of non-modular. All of the components come in crazy colors and several variations — but the pots? They only come in ZERO variations! That’s insane! Only one shape and size for each style? I was expecting a bit more, to be honest.
You can create all kinds of combinations with the help of the Flowerpot. It seamlessly attaches to the standalone Flowerpot, and with its soothing colours, this four-piece set makes for a great addition to your room. You get all the benefits of a plant while also being able to watch it grow!
5/20. Sims 4 Hanging Orb 1 Cassis Plant
SIMcredible has lived up to its name once again by proving that simple items are just as beautiful, just as decorative, and just as ‘elegant’ as larger or more expensive decorations… It’s definitely a worthy entry on this list, and if you don’t believe me, perhaps you’ll believe its 12 likes and counting!
6/20. Sims 4 Flower Hanging Baskets
You can hang these fresh, floral baskets in any room of the house, or outside for a touch of springtime. The Basics are smaller versions of the Deluxe option, but still come in two varieties: Basket 1 and Basket 2. It’s not a bad set at all — a good buy even!
7/20. Sims 4 Plantas Cuenca Set
Want to add a little bit of color and personality to your office or home? Look no further than this 5-pack of indoor plants. These are the brightest, most vibrant plants I’ve seen — plus one of them is actually a wall-hanging, which is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. They’re the perfect gifts for anyone who’s looking for something fun, fresh and energetic.
8/20. Sims 4 Hanging Modular Plants
This Modular Hanging Plants set allows you to have a hanging garden indoors. You can mix and match the pots or the plants; they will always connect, even if they are different models. It’s great for indoor plant lovers!
I love the set; it’s so easy to personalize and configure. Your terrariums will look amazing and you can even swap plants out for different colors! It comes with a tiny table for placing your pots, too. The only downside is that both your plants and their hanging pots tend to become very dirty after time, which doesn’t make them look as good.
9/20. Sims 4 Nature Flower Decorative Bed
We’ve already got the perfect solution for stylishly decorating your garden or home: Natatanec’s Decorative Flower Bed set.
Natatanec is an online store that specializes in providing high-quality decorative items. This flower bed set is no exception; it features a set of six variations of the concept “Flowers & Plants in Hollowed-Out Logs”.
10/20. Sims 4 Flora Plants
Spring has arrived and with it a little Easter fun! Bright colored potted plants make your home or office feel happy and friendly. These fun decorations will brighten up even the coldest winter day. Yes, that’s right — they are perfect all year round!
11/20. Sims 4 Zylo Collection Plant
This super simple “straightforward concept” is perfect for the home and office! Just pop the three dwarf palm plants in a single-tone, matte slip-cast ceramic pot, and you’ll have the perfect combination of greenery and minimalism. The plants are made to fit perfectly in any contemporary indoor space, from offices to living rooms. And shipping is surprisingly fast—you’ll have it before you know it!
12/20. Sims 4 Shop of Flower
The flowers are blooming. And what better way to celebrate springtime than by combining a new bouquet with a dainty vase of your choice? Of course, there’s more variety with this pack; you get to choose from 5 vases. Imagine the possibilities! You can mix and match those vases with one flower type each, or mix and match two flowers in one vase.
13/20. Sims 4 Farm Crops
The Sims franchise has always centered around the idea of “human simulation”, a concept which has become somewhat lost as the series continues to lose its identity. While I fully intend on playing games like The Sims 4, I have to admit that more often than not I prefer the feeling of playing a small community of vegetables. In this sense, Farm Crops is the game-changer that The Sims franchise needs.
14/20. Sims 4 Herb Potted Garden
I certainly am not. And neither are the Sims that grow their own herbs! Truthfully, this Potted Garden Herb is an especially brilliant addition to my collection. My garden is filled with pots full of homegrown herbs, and this pack offers a de-potting option that I’d never seen before.
Of the six pots of herbs, it is your own personal favourite — the one that is full of fennel. Who needs a chalkboard? Not everyone! Now you can grow fresh herbs in their own pot and cook up their juices into delicious meals. Your very own home-grown health plan.
15/20. Sims 4 TS4 to TS2 Flowers & Plants Mega Pack
This is one extensive love letter to plants. The creator took a lot of time, a lot of energy, and a lot of love to bring us this amazing pack; there are no words necessary. The pack is basically converting Sims 2 plants into Sims 4 plant versions of themselves — desert plants for desert landscapes, water plants for pools, flowers for indoor décor — you get the picture.
16/20. Sims 4 Jungle Urban Plants
TheKalino’s Urban Jungle Plants is the perfect CC for those that have a wild side on the inside. This set of plants will add some instant character to your Sims’ homes, and are literally crawling out of their containers because they can’t stay contained in one place. Each plant has a decent number of color swatches, so you can match them to your home’s decor with ease.
17/20. Sims 4 Organic Carbon
My first Sims pack was called “Eco Lifestyle.” The world was a post-industrial nightmare: factories had been built atop the bodies of ancient oceans, and nary a living creature in sight. I wrote an entire blog series about that world, detailing all my ideas. This one plant, the Organic Carbon Plant by sim_man123, has always stood out to me as one of the most effective parts of that collection.
18/20. Sims 4 Goods of Gardening
Dox’s is a top-notch online gardening store that offers beautiful and unique plants for both indoor and outdoor use! If you’re looking for a specific plant or are having trouble finding it, just let us know and we’ll be sure to find it for you. We’ve got only the best growers in our network — so you know your plants will grow well and look amazing!
This clever garden is an aesthetically pleasing planter with spaces for your herbs to grow from. It’s all purely functional, of course. So don’t worry about maintaining it — just drop any of these already-grown herbs in there for a lovely candlelit dinner! Your new decorations are going to look amazing in your Sims’ home.
19/20. Sims 4 Planter Teapot
This planter is the cutest thing ever! It’s a quirky little teapot with 10 unique designs, so you can show off your favourite brands or patterns. You can even change the color of the herbs in the planter, which I think would be completely cool. The plant inside the teapot cannot be changed, though — but that might have been too much to ask for.
20/20. Sims 4 VI Modular Plants
The Modular Plants set by plasticbox lets you recreate the organic shapes and colors of real plants, all without ever having to worry about sunlight, soil minerals, pH levels or any of the other complicated inputs that come with gardening. It’s just like making a garden in The Sims, but with real plants! And it’s fun to experiment with different combinations and see what crazy plants you can make!
This pack comes with three mini flowers, one tree of Cypress and 2 topiaries. These lovely flora can be placed in your garden. Two of them are already transplanted into soil, while the other three need to be planted. However, they do not replace any Maxis Match plants, so it’s ok if you have them!
